The term Biodynamic comes from both Rudolf Steiner and the German anatomist Erich Blechschmidt (1904–1992) who spoke of “Biodynamic Embryology.” Natural forces guide the metabolic processes of the developing embryo, therefore giving origin to the form of the body. This is what Dr. Sutherland, founder of the cranial field in Osteopathy, called Potency. Potency, is the warmth and rhythm, the pulsing life-force of the developmental gestures in nature. In this vision, the embryo is the loving source of perfect Health alive within each of us.
I have over 25 years of deep research and practice into biomechanics, physiology, pathologies (when things go wrong), and a handful of modalities that I have studied and practiced therapeutically over the last 25 years to address many different flavors of pain. I have trained to identify the resources of health within each persons system to see what IS working well. I have found that when the body/being is able to be present with another body/being the innate treatment plan unfolds and often makes room for what feels like miraculous healing moments. There is an intelligence that animates every cell, tissue, and organ system. Every single person who I have worked with over all these past years has taught me something unique.
As a practitioner I am privileged to get to witness and play together in this space.
